This wine showcases an intense ruby red hue and offers classic forest berry fruit aromas. Ripe berry fruits harmonize with spicy oak characters, providing structural support to the wine. On the palate, aromatic blackberry and blueberry fruits dominate, offering an opulent and classic representation of the region.

The grapes for this wine were sourced from Becker Vineyard in the Koonunga sub-region of the Barossa Valley. Previously owned by the Becker Family for four generations, the vineyard was recently acquired by the Hoffmann family. Situated on deeper loam soils over red clays along a small creek on the property, the grapes underwent fermentation in small batches. After fermentation, the wine was matured in 50% new French oak for 20 months before bottling. Minimal intervention was employed in the winemaking process, and the wine was moved minimally prior to bottling, without undergoing cold stabilization or filtration.
