Sittella Grand Prestige Late Disgorged 2009

Sittella Grand Prestige Late Disgorged 2009

Exhibiting a full yellow hue, indicative of its extended lees aging, this wine boasts an incredibly complex and mature bouquet, featuring pronounced toasty, biscuity, and bread crust aromas, with subtle hints of parmesan rind. The palate is full-bodied, rich, and round, with savory and mellow characteristics, culminating in a long, dry, and appetizing finish that lingers on the aftertaste. A testament to the rewards of patience.

Our 2009 Grand Prestige late disgorged is a testament to Sittella's sparkling winemaking heritage and is reserved for exceptional vintages. Aged for 12 years on lees, this blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from Pemberton, Western Australia, epitomizes Sittella's signature style.

Hand-picked and whole bunch pressed, only the finest juice, known as the Cuvee, is selected (500 liters/ton) for both tank and barrel. The wine undergoes a meticulous double settling process and a lengthy, cool fermentation. The blend of premium Pemberton Pinot Noir (50%) and Chardonnay (50%) is meticulously chosen for longevity.
