Rockford Basket Press 2021, a wine that embodies the rich history and craftsmanship of the Barossa. This wine is made from specially selected small parcels of established, dry-grown Barossa shiraz from some of the Barossa's finest grape growing families. The wine is made with traditional Barossa practices, including wooden crusher and gentle basket pressing method, then matured in seasoned American and French oak cask for 2 years.

The 2021 vintage reflects an exceptional season, delivering intense dark berry flavors and a beautifully balanced structure that will reward patience in the cellar or immediate enjoyment.

Robert O’Callaghan's expressive Rockford Basket Press Shiraz pays homage to the Barossa's 19th and early 20th-century legacy. Crafted from grapes harvested from 60 to 140-year-old dry-grown vineyards, primarily sourced from independent growers spanning various Barossa soils, altitudes, and micro-climates, this wine embodies a rare and significant post-colonial Australian aesthetic.
