The Barossa is steeped in history, an iconic Australian wine region where generations of families have nurtured the land and crafted world-class wines for over a century. Adrian Hoffmann is part of that rich legacy, born into a Barossa family that has been growing grapes and shaping the region’s story since 1857.

Today, Adrian is the proud custodian of the Hoffmann family vineyards, carrying forward a tradition that spans more than six generations. Today, Adrian manages 150 ha of vineyards and works with over 30 individual wine producers.

With the vineyard influencing Adrian’s decisions on winemaking, this is first Hoffmann Family Vineyard Shiraz release since 2017. Coming from one of our younger vines, the 2020 Mickan Block Shiraz is a wonderful insight into future releases. Dark & broody in the glass, its complexity is evident on the palate through to the finish. 3 years in seasoned French Oak and then 12 months in bottle before release.
