The CBDB is a single vineyard, single varietal wine, whereas the L.A.S. Vino Chenin Blanc is more diverse. It incorporates Chenin Blanc from three different vineyards within Margaret River, along with small additions of Chardonnay (3%) and Sauvignon Blanc (3%). This blend enhances the wine's complexity and character.

Owner Nic Peterkin, the grandson of the late Diana and Kevin Cullen (Cullen Wines) and son of Mike Peterkin (Pierro), holds a master's degree in oenology from the University of Adelaide. After gaining global experience as a Flying Winemaker, he returned to Margaret River with the ambition to create wines that are unique yet grounded in conventional oenological science. He plans to keep the project small-scale.
