The wine features fragrant scents of violets, wild cherry, raspberry, and pomegranate, complemented by hints of white pepper and blood orange. Its distinctive character is enhanced by a unique process of 372 days of post-fermentation maceration, resulting in an exceptionally smooth texture and elegance on the palate. This creates a wine with rich texture, well-defined structure, lively acidity, and firm tannins. It is impressive now and will develop further over the next few years.

Harvested manually from ancient, twisted bush vines planted in 1889 within a two-acre plot of deep sandy loam soil atop red-brown clay, situated in the core of the Barossa Valley. Each year, these historic vines yield limited quantities of exceptional grapes.
