Charlie Melton's flagship wine offers a compelling interpretation of the classic Barossa blend. It begins with the lively, spicy, and fragrant character of grenache, supported by the depth of black fruits and savory spice from shiraz. The palate reveals concentrated sweet-and-sour berry fruits intertwined with a diverse array of spices. Completing the experience are notes of dark chocolate oak and finely crafted tannins that contribute to a long and linear finish.

This wine is crafted from a blend of 50% grenache, 48% shiraz, and 2% mataro, with 98% of the fruit sourced from estate-grown vineyards in Rowland Flat and Krondorf, along with 2% from the Matchoss Vineyard in Eden Valley. Notably, 70% of the vines used are bush vines planted in 1927. After maturation for 30 months in French and American oak barriques, with 25% of them being new, this wine boasts a rich and complex profile.
