Owned by the Mitchell family since 1997, Montalto is where seasonal, heirloom produce is grown, shared and celebrated. Montalto’s home estate of 30 acres under vine is the heartland for our premium wines.

The Winemaking team, led by Simon Black, create wines of exemplary quality and character, utilising winemaking techniques that complement the unique qualities derived from only the very best parcels of fruit taken from our five vineyards, in a style that reflects each vineyard site.

Tasting Notes

"The charm of the Tuerong Pinot Noir begins with its complex nose. A plethora of aromas including bramble, Ink, cola, sarsaparilla, beets, parsnips, charcuterie, earth and a waft of cinnamon stick. On the palate, polished supple mulberry and blackberry fruits combine with spice, earthiness and mouth-coating chalky tannins on a long savoury finish.
