Frankland Estate Museum Riesling 2010
Frankland Estate Museum Riesling 2010
A Riesling from dry-grown vineyards in Frankland River, this wine boasts a harmonious blend of rich flavors. Fermented in aged oak, it combines notes of lime, lemon curd, baking spice, and ironstone with the fragrances of white blossom and yellow wattle, creating a quintessential Australian Riesling. Aged to perfection, this wine is crafted for casual enjoyment in the summer sun or paired elegantly with fresh seafood.
This expansive venture is located on a sprawling sheep property founded by Barrie Smith and Judi Cullam. Since its establishment in 1988, the vineyard has undergone steady expansion. A notable achievement has been the introduction of various single-vineyard Rieslings, with the Isolation Ridge Vineyard being cultivated organically. Today, Frankland Estate is overseen by second-generation siblings Hunter and Elizabeth Smith. Brian Kent, Elizabeth's husband, has been leading the winemaking efforts for over a decade.
