Domaine A Cabernet Sauvignon originates from ancient, cool climate terroir 
in Tasmania’s historic Stoney Vineyard. It is a wine of absolute dedication, 
built from the ground up according to a rigorous viticultural regime and 
uncompromising approach to winemaking. 

Domaine A Cabernet Sauvignon is crafted in small batches employing 
traditional techniques including open vat fermentation, regular racking and 
hand plunging with extended time on lees. It is matured in 100% new French 
oak barriques for three years and rested in the cellar for four further years or 
more until ready for release. 

Winemaker Notes

This 2012 is blend of 90% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Cabernet Franc, 3% Merlot, 2% Petit Verdot. "A big wine full of ripe strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, blackcurrant, complemented by some stickier, richer notes of tobacco, liquorice and kola. Ample tannin means it’ll need a little time in the glass to properly blossom, but also augurs well for further time in the cellar". Domaine A
