Mac Forbes approaches Riesling differently from the standard Australian style. Mac Forbes is one of the most talented winemakers in Victoria at the moment with focus on Chardonnay and Pinot Noir in Yarra Valley and Riesling in Strathbogie Ranges. The RS6 is is 6 g/l of residual sugar Riesling and aside from this technical term the wine is bright with melon notes, a touch of rounded acidity from the sweetness and lively palate.
