Springvale is an exceptional six hectare vineyard within a larger site at Watervale. The soil here is red loam over limestone with an unusual Slate Bedrock and is an ACO certified organic and biodynamic vineyard. The wine is a citrus showcase with notes of Kaffir Limes, Lemon Curd and Lemon drops. A great wine from what was considered a challenging vintage.

Jeffrey Grosset is widely acclaimed as Australia's top riesling producer, both domestically and internationally. However, his expertise extends beyond riesling, encompassing chardonnay and pinot noir from the Adelaide Hills, as well as Gaia, a Bordeaux blend from the Clare Valley, and Apiana Fiano and Nereus, a shiraz-based wine with a hint of nero d'Avola. Despite his unassuming demeanor, Jeffrey possesses a determined resolve. Notably, Grosset's four estate-owned vineyards in the Clare Valley are certified organic and biodynamic.
